    My first Poacher experience was in 2004 when our group from Alberta, Canada was hosted by a British Girl Scout unit. I didn’t have any idea what to expect and was so pleasantly surprised by the event that I took a different group of girls in 2008. I told those girls that it was a week long International event that they would never forget.

    Why volunteer as staff at Poacher 2022?

    As for all Guiding and Scouting events they couldn’t take place without volunteers. Without volunteers at Poacher there would be limited activities, no medical team, no admin function and no leaders to bring and support the participants – there wouldn’t be a Poacher as we know it.

    Welcoming over 6000 Scouts and Guides

    Poacher is Lincolnshire’s International Scout and Guide Jamboree – back again for the 11th time in 2022 for a week of fun, friendship and adventure.

    Members of the Scout and Guide sections from around the world aged 10-17 inclusive can attend Poacher 2022 as a participant.
