How To Survive The Great British Weather

    all weather

As the week goes on it’s super important to take care of yourself, whatever the weather might bring. So here are some tips, come rain or shine, to make the rest of your week as comfortable as possible.

    Get Changed

This is for rain or shine, get changed before you go to bed, clothes can be wet with sweat or rain and will make your sleep horribly uncomfortable. If you don’t have P. J’s, then get changed into your most comfortable dry clothes. But get changed.

    Drink lots

Even on wet days, it is still warm. To avoid dehydration, fill your water bottles several times a day.

    sun

    Sun cream and shade.

Going in and out of tents, or when there is some cloud, you may not feel as if you are in the sun for that long. But in the UK summer sunburn can occur in as little as 11 minutes, and that is guaranteed to be uncomfortable. So, make it a part of your morning routine and sun cream up!

    Separate out your wet clothes

There’s nothing worse than finding out that all your clean clothes for the next day are damp and horrible, it can make your morning thoroughly unpleasant. So, separate your wet clothes into a plastic bag if you can manage it.

    Rain

    Check your tent

On rainy days make sure all your gear is away from the edge of the tent, to prevent it from turning into a path. Alternatively on dry days make sure your fly sheet is shut to keep out the creepy crawlies.
