It seems like only yesterday that Diversity were closing our 2017 event after another hugely successful jamboree. Fast forward two years and we’re already planning for the Poacher 2022!
Planning started early 2018 with a newly formed Senior Management Team streamlining the event management. The Programme Team is responsible for everything that happens on the event away from the subcamps - Ceremonies, Adventurous Activities, Offsite Activities, Creative Activities, Global Activities, Trips, Transport, Discos, Cinemas, Fairgrounds, Lunchtime entertainments, Talent shows..... The list is never ending!
Poacher is proud to have earned the reputation for having the best range of activities on a UK jamboree, and we are keen to keep pushing the boundaries for the next Poacher. We are always on the look-out for something new! In 2017 we launched the Lunchtime Entertainments which offered participants the opportunity to watch a professional show in the main arena - from medieval jousting to FMX motocross, and the Imps motorcycle display team to a spitfire display!
What will we be offering for Poacher 2022? Well we can guarantee a few surprises so watch this space!
