The 50/50 Programme is for 14-17 year olds, allowing you to camp independently as well as gain valuable skills within a supportive environment.

What is the 50/50 Programme for 14-17 year olds?

Working alongside one of Poacher’s teams of dedicated volunteers, 14-17 year olds on the 50/50 Programme could be leading an activity or peeking behind the scenes at just what it takes to make a camp like Poacher a success.
As a 50/50 Staff Member you will be assigned to a staff team and work closely with them for half the day, and take part in the camp programme for the other. Some days you will work a morning shift, others an afternoon. You will camp alongside the rest of the 50/50 Staff Team in your own section of the 14-17 subcamp and, while not on duty, have access to the all the 14-17 exclusive activities, entertainments and chill out zone.
Your meals are included in your fee and you will be fully catered for on your subcamp.
This option is not available to those camping with their unit. It is only available to those who apply individually and independently (not through a Leader).
